Accreditations & Licenses: DNA PATERNITY &
FORENSIC TESTING: - American Association of Blood Banks (AABB)
- The AABB's Parentage
Testing Accreditation program is the gold standard for DNA paternity testing laboratory. The program establishes and
promotes the highest standards of testing quality and care for patients in all aspects of parentage testing.
- College
of American Pathologists (CAP)
- This accreditation program is recognized by the federal government as being equal
to or more stringent than the government's own laboratory inspection program. CAP accreditation also requires laboratories
to participate in its Proficiency Testing Program, in which CAP sends samples to the laboratories for DNA testing and evaluates
the laboratories' results.
- New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH)
- This certification permits
laboratories to perform DNA tests on cases originating from New York. Rigorous inspects are made of the entire testing
service, including processes performed outside the lab, such as chain of custody and patient referrals.
- Clinical
Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA)
- This accreditation issued by the U.S. Department of Health ensures
laboratory results are timely, accurate, and reliable.
- Forensic Quality Services-International (FQS-I/ISO IEC
17025)
- This is the United States' longest-established provider of ISO accreditation for forensic science testing
laboratories.
- American Society of Crime Laboratory Directs/Laboratory Accreditation Board-International
(ASCLD/LAB-International)
- This is the most stringent accreditation program for forensic DNA laboratories.

Certified Breath Alcohol
Technicians Laboratories licensed in every state where required. Laboratories certified
by SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) Laboratories accredited by College
of American Pathologists - Forensic Urine Drug Testing Laboratories licensed under CLIA (Clinical Laboratory
Improvement Amendments of 1988)
