Confidential drug test results are finally available from an easy-to-use oral fluid collection method. The device used for oral fluid tests is the leading oral fluid laboratory-based test for the NIDA-5 drugs
of abuse panel (marijuana, cocaine, opiates,
amphetamines and PCP). Ecstasy is reported
under the “methamphetamines” group. By using oral fluid instead of
urine, donors can collect and seal their own samples under direct visual supervision following “chain of custody”. This non-invasive, self-collection drug testing method allows for on-site collection

Essentially any drug that can be detected in blood or urine can also be
detected in oral fluid. The oral fluids device has been FDA approved for testing. When compared to urine analysis, the overall positive rate for a NIDA-5 Drug Panel
was 5.06% for the Intercept oral fluids and 4.46% for the urine analysis.
Testing is performed the day samples arrive at the laboratory and negative results are reported the same day. Positive
results are confirmed, reviewed and reported within seventy-two (72) hours of receipt.
